Delivery Information

This is Golden Hammer’s detailed delivery policy draft. It requires final approval by Golden Hammer and review by a qualified Kenyan lawyer.

Confirmed dispatch origins

Each order line must be tied to one confirmed dispatch origin. The origin is locked for the relevant fulfilment record so pickup, pricing and evidence remain attributable to the correct supplier location.

Separate delivery legs

One customer order may contain several suppliers or origins. Different origins create separate delivery legs by default, even when the destination is the same construction site. Each leg retains its own assignment, pickup instructions, milestones and audit history.

Delivery pricing by leg

Delivery pricing is calculated separately for each leg and may depend on origin, distance, route, vehicle, loading, unloading, site access, timing and product requirements. A catalogue or product reference does not confirm a final delivery price.

Loading and vehicle information

Suppliers and buyers must provide practical loading, vehicle and handling requirements. The assigned driver information should identify the leg, pickup address, map information where available, loading contact, products, quantities, vehicle or loading needs, destination, site contact, schedule and access or safety notes.

Construction-site access

The buyer or site contact must provide accurate destination, access restrictions, unloading arrangements, safety requirements and contact availability. Additional cost or delay caused by incomplete or inaccurate information may need review before the leg proceeds.

Driver assignment

Assignments are specific to a delivery leg. A driver must not assume authority for another leg or accept material changes outside the authorised record.

Pickup proof

Pickup proof requires a photograph of the goods tied to the delivery leg, dispatch origin, driver assignment, timestamp and audit history. Pickup proof confirms the pickup event; it is not delivery-completion proof.

Delivery-completion proof

Delivery-completion evidence is recorded separately and should identify the relevant leg, destination, recipient or site contact, time and any recorded exception.

Delays and failed delivery

Delays may arise from supplier readiness, route conditions, vehicle requirements, access, safety or unavailable contacts. Golden Hammer will use the recorded information to coordinate the next step. A failed attempt may require additional cost review before redelivery.

Damage, shortage or incorrect goods

Record visible issues at receipt where practical, preserve goods and packaging, and contact Golden Hammer promptly with the order and delivery-leg details. Do not rely only on a driver message to resolve a product dispute.

Multi-stop routing

Separate origins produce separate legs by default. Multi-stop routing is not currently implied or created automatically.
